Tried & True Spinach Dip
We host a lot of football parties at our house and I serve this dip at more than half of them. It is a true crowd pleasing recipe and the best part about it is how easy it is to put together!
The original recipe calls for cooked spinach, but I prefer the flavor of just thawed frozen spinach (without cooking).
Tried & True Spinach Dip
(originally from Knorr)
Ingredients:
- 1 box (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 packet vegetable soup mix
- 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients and chill at least 2 hours. Serve with cubed pumpernickel bread.
I was wondering if using the all nuartal peanut butter (no sugar added) would work well with this recipe? What peanut butter did you use?[] Reply:August 13th, 2012 at 9:50 AMI always use JIF (not nuartal). Not sure if the all nuartal will work as I never tried it for this recipe. Sorry I couldn’t help more![]
Wait, I cannot fathom it being so strfdghtaorwari.
